Help with Signing In

SoroSoke supports four sign-in methods: email and password, phone number OTP, Google, and Apple. Here is how each works and how to troubleshoot common issues.

Sign in with email

  1. Open SoroSoke and tap Sign In.

  2. On the sign-in screen, select the Email tab.

  3. Enter your registered email address and password.

  4. Tap Sign In. You will be taken to your home feed.

If you forgot your password, tap Forgot password? and follow the steps in How to Reset Your Password.

Sign in with phone number

  1. Select the Phone Number tab on the sign-in screen.

  2. Enter your country code and phone number (e.g. +234 followed by your number).

  3. Tap Send OTP. A 6-digit code will be sent to your phone via SMS.

  4. Enter the code and tap Verify Code.

Sign in with Google or Apple

Tap Continue with Google or Continue with Apple on the sign-in screen. You will be redirected to complete authentication with Google or Apple, then returned to SoroSoke automatically. Apple sign-in is coming Q3 2026.

Common sign-in errors

"Invalid login credentials"

Your email or password is incorrect. Double-check your email address for typos. If you have forgotten your password, use the password reset flow.

OTP code not arriving

Check that you entered the correct phone number including the country code. OTP messages can occasionally be delayed by up to 2 minutes. Tap Resend after 60 seconds if the code hasn't arrived. Ensure your phone has mobile signal or data.

"Account setup incomplete"

This error means authentication succeeded but your profile was never fully created. This can happen if the sign-up process was interrupted. Please sign up again with the same credentials or contact support@sorosokegpl.com.

Account lockout

Multiple failed sign-in attempts may result in a temporary lockout. See Help with Temporary Account Lockout if you are locked out.
