Law Enforcement Guidelines

SoroSoke Global Platforms Ltd is a Nigerian company registered under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (RC No. 1801907). We comply with valid legal process in accordance with Nigerian law and applicable international legal frameworks.

Submitting a law enforcement request

Nigerian law enforcement agencies, the judiciary, or other authorised bodies seeking account information or content removal must submit requests to:

Email: legal@sorosokegpl.com
Post: SoroSoke Global Platforms Ltd, 3 Omoniyi Street, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos – 101232.

All requests must be on official letterhead, clearly identify the requesting authority, specify the user account(s) concerned, describe the legal authority underpinning the request, and state the specific data being sought.

What data we may disclose

In response to a valid court order or lawful legal process, we may disclose:

  • Basic account information (registered name, phone number, email, registration date).
  • IP address logs associated with account activity.
  • Post and message content (with a specific court order).

We do not voluntarily disclose user data without valid legal process.

Emergency disclosure

Where there is an imminent threat to life, we may provide limited information to law enforcement without formal process. Such disclosures are logged and users are notified as soon as legally permissible.

User notification

Where not prohibited by law, we will notify users when we receive a legal request for their data before complying, to allow them to seek legal remedy.

Transparency

We publish periodic transparency reports detailing the volume and nature of law enforcement requests received. These reports are available on our website at sorosokegpl.com.
